Paisley Triple Stamped Card

Welcome to my new blog fellow papercrafters! First, a brief introduction: I have been an Independent Consultant for Close to My Hear for almost a year now. I have been scrapbooking, since high school, but really got into the hobby after my husband bought me a Cricut for Christmas 2010. Since then, I have completed six scrapbooks! After becoming a consultant, I made my first ever card. It was a thank you card for a hostess. It was mediocre, at best. I have spent the last year watching YouTube videos, reading blogs, and joining artwork communities on Facebook. While my passion still lies with scrapbooking, I have really fallen in love with cardmaking. You will see both in my blog! Thanks for reading! Please feel free to comment, follow, and shop me!

Paisley Triple Stamped Card:  Triple stamping, also called layered stamping or triple time stamping, is a very simple yet elegant technique that makes a great statement.

To triple stamp, you will want to layer your white daisy cardstock and stick it together with a removable adhesive. You only stamp each paisley once, but you will stamp across two or all three layers to make the effect. If you create any gaps, have no fear. Gaps will be fixed when you unlayer the white and add in the gray! It really is that simple! Happy Scrapping, Artsy friends!

Ingredients: slate cardstock (Z2173), white daisy cardstock (1385), neutral metallic assortment of baker's twine (Z1921), crystal blue stamp pad (Z2194), gypsy stamp pad (Z2190), Paisley Perfect stamp set (C1556), Swirls Around stamp set (D1551), and a purple button from your local craft store. This card is the typical A2 size.

This card has also been submitted for Take Hearts Ideas July challenge. Find them here: http://takeheartideas.com/welcome-to-take-heart-ideas/

  1. What an interesting and fun technique that I have not learned. I'll be heading to You Tube to learn more. I love the bold colors. Thank you for joining Take Heart Ideas Challenge this month.
