So, for this card I tried something new for me: stamping on vellum. I used white embossing powder to really make it pop.
Underneath the vellum, I created my own B&T using flowers from the Shower Flowers stamp set.
I created both cards in about 45 mins. Not bad for a last minute attempt.
Ingredients: White Daisy Cardstock, Sorbet Cardstock, Sorbet Ink Pad, Crystal Blue Ink Pad, Gypsy Ink Pad, Glacier Extra Thick Twine, Shower Flowers, Holiday Tags, Versa Mark Ink Pad, White Embossing Powder
Happy Scrapping, My Artsy Friends!
Kinda looks like bokeh. Pretty. Thanks for sharing with us at Heart 2 Heart.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I haven't had a chance to try bokeh yet, but I've seen some really great artwork using it!
DeleteWow, this is such a striking card! I need to get my hands on some vellum! Thank you for sharing this with us at H2H challenges.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I've been waiting to try stamping on vellum for awhile. There is a "glass window" technique I want to try. I bought the vellum for a great price on Amazon.
DeleteVery pretty, I love the velum. I have not used vellum in a long time! Thanks for playing along with Heart 2 Heart Challenges (H2H)!

Thanks so much. I like vellum a lot, but haven't used it in awhile either. It's really versatile, though.
