I really wanted this layout to have a lot of elements without a lot of work, so I skipped the stamping and focused on using the Kaleidoscope Complements and Assortment.
For the left page, I used lots of layers to create a bright, fun look. I even used some scraps from the shaker card I posted yesterday.
For the right page, I tried to keep a similar layered look by adding Gypsy B&T behind one of the photos.
I really love how using the Complements and Assortment can spice up the layout with so little effort.
I am also entering this layout in this week's Between the Fold's Anything Goes challenge.

Great layout! Love all the layering of the papers. Thank you for inspiring us at Between The Folds Challenge Blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for looking, Donna! I love layers!
DeleteBeautiful layout, April. I love this paper, and it does look watercolored. If you want to play with the water color look without investing in the paint set, you can get the same effect using dye ink pads. I show a little of how to do it on this post: http://becca-expressions.blogspot.com/2015/10/sangria-cards-with-artiste-cricut.html
ReplyDeleteHope that's not too self-serving. :)
Thanks, Becca. I'm actually just not really into the watercolor look myself. But, thanks for the tip.
