Curtain Fold Thank You Card

Welcome back, readers! So, Sunday my friends held a Baby Sprinkle for me to celebrate baby boy #2 due next month! Since, I never buy cards anymore, I knew I would have to be creating a thank you card for my guests. I have been seeing a lot of the curtain fold cards online, and really wanted to try one for myself. I watched a view videos on YouTube to get the concept down, and then came up with this card using the FREE paper pack for National Scrapbooking Month:

So, as you can see the basic design of a curtain fold is to fold the paper back and forth to create this ripple. It works really well with double sided paper, because you'll see both patterns! Since, this was a Thank You card for a Baby Sprinkle, I used the onesie from Georgie to accent the card. I marker colored the onesie, and stamped anchor from a retired stamp set to decorate. The anchor is also embossed in silver. My husband is Active Duty in the US Coast Guard, so anchors are big in our family!

As I said before, this paper pack called Happy Times is absolutely FREE this month with a $60 purchase from CTMH. Additionally, there is a stamp set that you can purchase for $17.95. Get both on my website by clicking the icon on the right, or clicking here.

I am entering this card in Between the Folds Fancy Folds Challenge.
